surprise giveaway!

I have a fun giveaway for you today - it is actually my first sponsored giveaway so I am pretty excited. I have been approached several times about doing giveaways, but politely turned the offers down because I am committed to only sharing products that "fit" with the blog and what I think you guys would really love. So let me tell you all about it...

My Memories Suite is an award winning digital scrapbook software. It is rated #1 by Amazon and Top Ten Reviews. Better that all that - it is really easy and fun to use! Using this software, anyone can create digital scrapbooks, photobooks, cards, calendars and gifts without having to buy expensive and complicated software programs.

I was given a free download of the software and I have had so much fun working with it! I will admit that I have been skeptical of digital scrapbooking. I thought it would be too hard, or I wouldn't like the look, or I didn't need one more thing to do, you know? Well, I was pretty much wrong. I downloaded the software and started right up. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it really is.

Here is a traditional scrapbooking page I came up with. All of the elements on the page either came loaded on the software or I got them in the free section of the My Memories store. There is a pretty big selection of free stuff on the site, along with lots of cute stuff you can buy. 

I took it past just traditional scrapbooking and came up with this to print and put in a frame down in my craft room. The paper and flower elements I used to make this are from A Fresh Start line, which I purchased on the My Memories website. 

Another fun thing I came up with is a personalized calendar. This is currently the background on my computer, but you could also make a whole set and print them as a gift. I know my mom would love a calendar full of pictures of our family. Christmas is coming up...

This software could also be useful for you if you have a blog and want to add a little extra something to your photos. This is an old giveaway photo I had (FYI: not a current giveaway!), and I thought it would be fun in the future to announce the winner in a fancier, prettier way. I just added a tag and some text, and I think it adds a little extra something fun!
