It's Friday (although it is getting late and this post might be cutting it close...) and that means it's time for five things. I started a new board on Pinterest just for card inspiration. Check it out here if you like.
I thought I would share five of my favorite pinned cards. Honestly, sometimes you just run out of creative juice. Why not just use someone else's creativity to make something beautiful? That is why we all blog and flikr and pin and facebook and tweet, isn't it? We are sharing our ideas to inspire others. So sometimes I take someone else's ideas and put my own spin on them (without reselling, acting like it is my own, etc. of course!). Without further chit-chatting away, here are five pinned card ideas.
I just love the simplicity and the stitching. Even the little staple at the bottom is the perfect finishing touch!
I pinned this one for the design. Proof that simple design can be colorful and interesting and bright. With the right patterned papers and a cute image, this card has endless possibilities.
The little clothespins? So sweet!
I love this - use metal stamps to stamp onto cards. Such a great idea! I have a really neglected set of metal stamps that I think I will break out on some cards. (Plus it is on Kraft cardstock so I couldn't resist!).
This is so fun! I am not into the mustache trend at all, but I think this is a great idea for a baby boy shower cards. Sure beats teddy bears and rubber duckies!
What about you? Where do you get your card inspiration when it is running low? Magazines, online, blogs?
