Look what I made:
It's a blog planner! So so perfect!
The pages are from Wild Olive. Just print them, cut them in half, and bind them. I used my Cinch binding tool, but office supply stores will bind a book for you for pretty cheap.
If you clicked on the link above, you will see that Mollie designed these pages for Tara. Go check out how cute Tara's blog planner is!
I thought about things a bit before I made mine, and modified a couple things to make it work for me (I cannot say "make it work" without hearing Tim Gunn in my head. anyone else?)
First of all, I didn't print the planner pages on both sides. This leaves a blank set of pages every other page. I am a sketcher and idea writer, so besides this being just a planner I wanted it to be a journal of sorts.
I also made some cute envelopes to house a few of my business cards. How many times in my short life of blogging have I said "I don't have a card with me but..." Now I will have a card with me.
Since I am no good in Photoshop, I made a cover with paper and Mod Podge rather than a printed design. Scraps of paper and paper embellishments, covered in a couple layers of MP and that's it.
Head on over to Wild Olive and tell Mollie how cool she is for offering up this free blog planner printable!

This is really cool! I do my blog planning on the computer but it doesn't looks as cute as this!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love how you've done yours. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHow clever! And yours turned out lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
ReplyDeleteQuestion, where did you find your Ball jar diecut?
That's adorable! I love the envelopes in the back, and how freaking cute are your lil business cards?! I seriously need to get some . . . so many times, I (or my husband) have said, "I have an etsy shop! Commit this address to memory . . . "
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I love everything about it! I need to start doing some actually planning for my blog at some point, I've just been making it up as I go so far!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute idea. I love everything organized, but like Jenn, above, I just blogged on-the-fly. I really would prefer a more planned situation. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMichelle - the die cut came from a pack of vintage looking die cuts by K&Co. I got it at Michael's.

This is great - I've seen the pages before but been just to lazy to make one. This is really inspiring though, I can't wait to have a nose around the rest of your blog!
ReplyDeleteI love this planner. You inspired me to make one of my own. It isn't nearly as gorgeous though. Thanks for the beauty!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute! I'd like to make my own but I want a hefty cover and back. What is your cover made out of?
ReplyDeleteIt is made of cardboard - like the kind that comes on the back of a scrapbook paper pad.
