five things friday: crafting supplies edition

I am going to start something new around here.

Every Friday I am going to do a five things post - it could be craft related, it could be family related, it could be related to something totally crazy.

This week I will be highlighting five of my favorite craft supplies. Nope, not getting any compensation for this. In fact I am pretty sure none of these companies have any idea who I am.

So, here goes.

This felt is amazing! It is so thick and dense and doesn't get all fuzzy like cheap-o felt. And the colors - amazing!

This paint is great because there are SO many colors, it can be used for so many things, and it is pretty cheap. This is what I used for the frame in my cross stitch deer decor.

I use this on everything. It is permanent and fast drying and great for when hot glue just isn't enough.

The perfect blend of girly and vintage and pretty. Here is my problem though. It is so pretty I don't want to cut it up! Anyone else have this problem? (Paper hoarder here.)

I have this one. I have a few others too. I love having a craft staple like this. A basic punch like this can be used for card making, scrapbooking, and embellishing.

There you have it. A few of my favorites.

What are some of yours?

  1. Thanks to this post, I searched for and found the october afternoon paper pack and bought it! It was love at first sight!! Also, referring back to your post on the cross-stitched deer: I went to your post where you told what book the pattern came from, but the picture of the book isn't showing up for me. Can you tell me what the name of the book is? I think it's one I'd like to have! Thank you so much! (I'm a new follower - found you via Tatertots and Jello) http://martylou.blogspot.com

  2. Hey Martha - I tried to email you, but you must have it set to private. I fixed the post (I think). It would be great if you could check it and tell me if you can see the picture now. Also, here is the name of the book in case it still doesn't work - it is called "A Rainbow of Stitches" and Amazon has it.

Hope that helps! Thanks for reading!

  3. Yes ma'am, you fixed the picture! Thank you for going to all that trouble. It looks like a great book. :-)

I appreciate each and every lovely comment you leave!
