So Anderson and I started on my craft room this weekend. So far we have painted and installed one countertop. Want to see?
OK, ok... Here is the before:
Not only is it generic beige full of mismatched furniture and plastic boxes, it is a MESS! But in my defense, it wasn't this messy until we started trying to move all the furniture away from the walls to paint. Ready to see the paint color? And the counters? K.
Now ignore the mismatched shelves under the long counter. They (as well as all that junk piled in the middle of the room) will be disguised beautifully with some of this:
I. am. in. LOVE. with this fabric. I found it at Joann's and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted it. They only had 3 yards, so I drove about 30 minutes to the only other Joann I know about and bought some more. Also today I found this and fell in love for the second time this weekend:
Oh yeah. Guess where I got it? Goodwill. $12. Shut up. It has tassles so pretty much I died when I saw it. I am thinking of painting it but I just don't know yet.
I am going to save the other details for later. I have plans guys, BIG plans. It is going to be the most fantastical craft room ever!
